Newman HR Consulting Opens Office in Entrepreneur Centre in Cambridge

I am delighted to announce that we have just opened an office located in the Entrepreneur Centre in Cambridge on 5 Goddard Crescent, Suite 201E. This reflects our steady growth in our business in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge area. We provide HR services to companies who don’t have, or don’t need a full time Human Resource  Department. We’re your “fractional” HR department when you need it, regularly, or on occasion, for routine work or difficult people situations. Our passion is helping businesses get the most out of their people, often guiding them through challenging people situations.   Our focus is simple:
  1. Solve – your immediate people issues
  2. Prevent – work with you to create HR solutions to prevent further issues
  3. Grow – incorporate best HR practices to grow your people and your business
We help with recruiting, performance management, including terminations, compensation, training, health & safety, harassment investigations. We often act as a confidential “sounding board” for business owners. Located in Cambridge near the Toyota plant, our new location provides us with private office space, a boardroom, and access to a 50 seat auditorium for group meetings, town hall events and training sessions. The Entrepreneur Centre was built by one of my long-standing clients, National R&D. It’s an ideal central location for either growing small businesses or emerging start-ups to target advancements in developing manufacturing or IT products and processes in the heart of Cambridge, Ontario’s industrial sector. It’s designed to attract seasoned trades experts as well as new graduates from various Colleges and Universities to start their businesses. The office features affordable open co-working or enclosed work spaces, as well as conference rooms, private meeting rooms, and town hall event space. Newman HR continues to be actively engaged in our local business community and has benefited from our many connections – the Greater Kitchener/Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, and The Waterloo Small Business Centre.   The most common challenges among my clients these days are:
  1. Finding the right talent in a tight market
  2. Managing performance – both poor and exceptional
  3. Keeping staff engaged while meeting their expectations
  4. Providing the best tools for outstanding performance reviews
